Microfluidic droplet sorting has emerged as a powerful technique for a broad spectrum of biomedical applications ranging from single cell analysis to high-throughput drug screening, biomarker detection and tissue engineering. However, the controlled and reliable retrieval of selected droplets for further off-chip analysis and processing is a significant challenge in droplet sorting, particularly in high-throughput applications with low expected hit rates. In this study, we present a microfluidic platform capable of sorting and dispensing individual droplets with minimal loss rates.

The last French department, created in 2011, Mayotte still lacks its integration into official health statistics, making it difficult to adapt care facilities to needs, as well as planning for prevention. We conducted a retrospective epidemiological study including all patients treated in the Mayotte burns unit between February 1, 2022 and January 31, 2023 (339 patients). We first studied burn patients on the island, i.

Pediatric acute myeloid leukemia frequently harbor fusion oncogenes associated with poor prognosis, including KMT2A, NUP98 and GLIS2 rearrangements. While murine models have demonstrated their leukemogenic activities, the steps from a normal human cell to leukemic blasts remain unclear. Here, we precisely reproduced the inversion of chromosome 16 resulting in ETO2::GLIS2 fusion in human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC).

Herein, we present a method for the diastereoselective synthesis of N-heterocycle-substituted cyclobutanes from commercially available bromocyclobutanes. This method enables the efficient formation of various heterocyclic aminocyclobutane esters and amides using simple reagents. Notably, N-nucleophiles such as imidazoles, azoles, and nucleobase derivatives were successfully incorporated, enhancing the chemical diversity of small ring building blocks for medicinal chemistry applications.
