[Translated article] National registry and analysis of pharmaceutical interventions in critical care units: PHARMACRITIC study.

Objective: To design a homogeneous methodology for the registration and analysis of pharmaceutical interventions performed in spanish intensive adults care units (ICUs).

Method: Observational, prospective, and multicentre study. In the first stage, a national registry of pharmaceutical interventions will be agreed upon and subsequently, all the pharmaceutical interventions performed on adult patients admitted to Spanish ICUs during 8 weeks will be recorded.

Evolution of biological regulation networks under complex environmental constraints.

This work investigates the influence of environmental inducers on the organization of cell regulation networks, using a connectionist approach. Protein interactions are modeled by an asymmetrical recurrent network, the units of which take continuous values. In contrast to classical models, we explicitly introduce a genome to encode the architecture of the system.
