Objective: Translating the newly developed Empowerment Audiology Questionnaire, EmpAQ-15 to Swedish, and performing content validation on the Swedish version.
Design: Best-practice principles using forward and back translations which were revised by a committee prior to field testing. Field testing was conducted by cognitive interviews with hearing-aid users talking through and rating the items in the translated questionnaire.
A chlorine-substituted Criegee intermediate, ClCHOO, is photolytically generated using a diiodo precursor, detected by VUV photoionization at 118 nm, and spectroscopically characterized via ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis)-induced depletion of / = 80 under jet cooled conditions. UV-vis excitation resonant with a π* ← π transition yields a significant ground state depletion, indicating a strong electronic transition and rapid photodissociation. The broad absorption spectrum peaks at 350 nm and is attributed to contributions from both (∼70%) and (∼30%) conformers of ClCHOO based on spectral simulations using a nuclear ensemble method.

With recent emergence in Antarctica, traditional animal capture and influenza testing approaches have proven challenging and logistically impractical. Without reference laboratories in the region, responses are slow and few samples will ever be collected or tested from local outbreaks due to lack of infrastructure.

In 2021, Cambodia faced two major epidemic waves of SARS-CoV-2 triggered by the successive rise of the Alpha and Delta variants.
Methods: Phylodynamic analysis of 1,163 complete SARS-CoV-2 genomes from Cambodia, along with global sequences, were conducted between February and September 2021 to infer viral introductions, molecular epidemiology and population dynamics.
