Advancements in cancer treatment have led to improved survival rates, with early phase clinical trials (EPCTs) serving as important initial steps in evaluating novel therapies. Recent studies have shown that response rates in these trials have doubled in the last twenty years. Patients who enroll on EPCTs have advanced cancer and heightened symptomatology yet maintain a robust performance status that qualifies them for clinical trial participation.

In this work, we present a methodology to create an effective novel double-sided symmetric architecture of solid-state electrochromic devices. This principally new nonconventional configuration provides access to novel electrochromic systems that could be applicable for the creation of smart double-side signage, smart boards, nonemissive displays, and other smart interactive devices that change their color upon application of a voltage. The proposed configuration is based on the assembly of two identical electrochromic materials facing each other through an opaque optical separator.

Target cell expression of BTN3A1, the "P-Ag sensor," and BTN2A1, a direct ligand for T cell receptor (TCR) Vγ9, is essential for this process; however, the molecular mechanisms involved are unclear. Standard Naloxone Prescribing for Palliative Care Cancer Patients on Opioid Therapy: A Single-Site Quality Improvement Pilot to Assess Attitudes and Access.

Background: Limited data exist on when to offer naloxone to cancer patients on opioid therapy.

Measures: We assessed patient and clinician attitudes on naloxone education (done via surveys at initial and follow up visits) and prescribing rates (via chart reviews) at a single ambulatory palliative care practice. Pharmacy records assessed naloxone dispense rates.
