Jaffe-Campanacci Syndrome: A Case Report and Review of the Literature.

Jaffe-Campanacci syndrome (JCS) is a rare disorder characterized by multiple non-ossifying fibromas (NOFs), café-au-lait spots, and other features such as mental retardation and cryptorchidism. It is often clinically and genetically similar to neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1), complicating diagnosis. This report presents a 17-year-old male with right knee pain, café-au-lait spots, and axillary freckling.

Perception of Telemedicine and Remote Learning Following the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Health Education England Survey of London Obstetrics and Gynaecology Trainees.

Purpose: To determine the level of uptake of telemedicine among postgraduate obstetrics and gynaecology (O&G) trainees in London, and how they perceive its impact on their training.

Methods: A mixed-methods survey aimed at exploring trainee perspectives of telemedicine use in clinical practice and its implications for training. Study participants were O&G specialist doctors on the London (UK) training programme.

Introduction: The shoulder girdle comprises the scapula, clavicle, proximal humerus, and the soft tissues surrounding these structures. Bone and soft tissue tumors are notably more prevalent in the lower extremity than in the upper extremity. However, the shoulder ranks as the third most common site for primary tumors, following the hip-pelvis and knee.

The vaginal microbiota is a determinant for the risk of preterm birth (PTB). Dominance of the vaginal niche by associates with term delivery. This is the first observational clinical study of live vaginal biotherapeutics ( CTV-05 (LACTIN-V)) in pregnant women at high-risk of PTB.

Fertility preservation and realignment in transgender women.

Medical care for transgender people is multi-faceted and attention to individual reproductive aspirations and planning are an essential, yet often overlooked aspect of care. Given the impact of hormonal therapy and other gender affirmation procedures on reproductive function, extensive counselling and consideration of fertility preservation is recommended prior to their commencement. This review article explores the reproductive aspirations of transgender women and considers the current disparity between stated desires regarding utilisation of fertility preservation services.
