Lesson in understanding parents' perspective: perception of quality of care and COVID-19-related fears among users of paediatric health services over the COVID-19 pandemic in 11 facilities in Italy.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic had an important psychological impact on children and their families. This study aims to explore paediatric health services users' perceptions of quality of care (QOC) and COVID-19-related fears, and their evolution over time in relation to COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: In a multicentre cross-sectional study involving 11 public hospitals providing paediatric care across the Italian territory, we collected data from services users through a validated questionnaire.

Failed oral immunotherapy should be considered as a risk factor for fatal anaphylaxis, and omalizumab treatment considered.

Oral immunotherapy is proposed as the only active intervention to modify allergies and decrease the risk of severe reactions. However, it is crucial to note that oral immunotherapy still presents a notable failure rate and potential for severe, life-threatening outcomes. Notably, patients who discontinue oral immunotherapy may face an increased risk of fatal reactions.

Technological interventions in European dementia care: a systematic review of acceptance and attitudes among people living with dementia, caregivers, and healthcare workers.

Background: Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative forms of dementia affect 8 million Europeans. Assistive technologies are suggested to reduce the burden of care and improve the quality of life of person living with dementia. Nonetheless, the acceptance and attitudes toward technological interventions pose challenges not only for people living with dementia and caregivers but also for healthcare workers.
