The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparative analysis of the composition of the dominant groups of vaginal microorganisms in healthy pregnant women and pregnant women infected with HPV using a microbiological culture-based method. The MALDI TOF MS method and 16S rRNA gene fragment sequencing were used to identify microorganisms isolated from healthy pregnant women (n=32) and pregnant women infected with HPV (n=24). It was found that vaginal secretion samples from both groups contained bacteria of 4 phyla: Bacillota, Actinomycetota, Pseudomonadota, Bacteroidota, and Ascomycota fungi.

Most MFC strategies used in routine laboratories include leukemia-associated phenotype (LAP) markers, whose expression profiles can be difficult to interpret. The aim of our study was to reach a better understanding of 7 LAP markers' landscape in B ALL: CD9, CD21, CD66c, CD58, CD81, CD123, and NG2.

This commentary on a case offers a historical perspective on how home health work became separate from other sites and means of professional caregiving, exacerbating poor continuity of care in the US health care system. Categorizing home health work as domestic work continues to racialize and marginalize workers. Poor public policy responding to market pressures to keep home health work cheap also perpetuates home health workers' classification as independent contractors, their lack of training, and low wages.

A simple scheme for dynamically switching the quality factor, Q, of a Loop-Gap Resonator (LGR); working at 250 MHz is presented. The addition of this Q-modulator resulted in 30% improvement in Electron Paramagnetic Resonance imager signal-to-noise ratio. During pulse excitation, this scheme lowered the Q, while higher Q was obtained during signal detection.
