The effect of self-esteem development programme applied to secondary school students on self-esteem and peer bullying victimization: A randomized controlled trial.

Background: Self-esteem and peer bullying, which affect the academic success and psychological development of secondary school students, are increasingly becoming a serious problem.

Aim: This study was conducted to examine the effect of the Self-Esteem Development Programme applied to secondary school students on self-esteem and peer bullying victimization.

Methods: This randomized controlled trial was conducted with 66 students (intervention = 33, control = 33) studying in the 6th grade at a secondary school.

Effects of external bleeding and hyperbaric oxygen treatment on Tamai zone 1 replantation.

Introduction: Tamai zone 1 replantation poses a challenge due to the very small size of the vascular structures; often there is no vein for anastomosis. Replantation may have to be done with only an arterial anastomosis. In our study, we aimed to evaluate the success of replantation by combining external bleeding and hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT) in Tamai zone 1 replantation.

Modified Diamond-Shaped Umbilicoplasty in Abdominoplasty.

Background: The aim in umbilicoplasty is to obtain a scar that is less visible, the appropriate navel shape and depth. In our study, we aimed to achieve a more natural and younger appearance of the navel which significantly affects the aesthetic result after abdominoplasty. Modification of diamond-shaped umbilicoplasty technique and clinical results were evaluated.

Factors Associated with Treatment Success After Interlaminar Epidural Steroid Injection for Cervical Radicular Pain.

Aim: To investigate the demographic, clinical and radiological findings associated with treatment success after interlaminar epidural steroid injection (ILESI) in radicular pain induced by cervical disc herniation.

Material And Methods: In this retrospective study, the data of patients who received cervical ILESI between January 2017 and June 2021 were screened. Of 223 patients, 92 with unilateral radicular neck pain due to cervical disc herniation were included.

Effect of perioperative intravenous magnesium sulfate on postoperative pain after iliac venous stenting.

Background: The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of perioperative intravenous (IV) magnesium sulfate (MS) on low back pain (LBP) severity after iliac venous stent implantation.

Methods: The present study was a single-center retrospective study. A total of 97 patients who had undergone iliac venous stenting for post-thrombotic syndrome between January 1, 2019 and January 11, 2021 were considered for inclusion in the present study.
