Background: Adults with spinal deformity (ASD) are known to have spinal malalignment, which can impact their quality of life and their autonomy in daily life activities. Among these tasks, ascending and descending stairs is a common activity of daily life that might be affected.
Research Question: What are the main kinematic alterations in ASD during stair ascent and descent?
Methods: 112 primary ASD patients and 34 controls filled HRQoL questionnaires and underwent biplanar X-from which spino-pelvic radiographic parameters were calculated.
Data about metabolic syndrome (MS) in people who use drugs (PWUD) undergoing treatment for recovery are limited. We aimed to explore the extent of the MS and its predominant components and determinants in a sample of PWUD undergoing treatment for recovery through rehabilitation or opioid substitution treatment (OST) in Lebanon. Furthermore, we investigated the effect of each treatment modality on the MS; This was a cross-sectional study, in which demographics and treatment-related, nutritional, and biochemical data of the participants were collected.

A core outcome set (COS)-a minimum set of agreed-upon outcomes to be used in every clinical trial for a given condition-provides guidance on which outcomes are most important to measure to ensure necessary data is collected for a variety of stakeholders and enable comparison across products and trials.
Aim: coreVWD aimed to develop a COS for trials for prophylaxis and perioperative treatments for VWD.
Tumoral calcinosis is a rare disorder characterized by the deposition of calcium phosphate crystals in periarticular soft tissues, often presenting as asymptomatic masses. However, these calcific masses can occasionally cause significant morbidity by compressing adjacent neurovascular structures. We report a rare case of tumoral calcinosis leading to peripheral nerve compression of the suprascapular nerve in a 55-year-old female.
