Breaking the taboo of using the nursing process: lived experiences of nursing students and faculty members.

Background: Despite the numerous advantages of the nursing process, nursing students often struggle with utilizing this model. Therefore, studies suggest innovative teaching methods to address this issue. Teaching based on real clinical cases is considered a collaborative learning method that enhances students' active learning for the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

A comprehensive study on the spatial and temporal variation of BTEX and asbestos in the northwest of Iran: Human risk assessment.

Substances like asbestos and other air pollutants, such as BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene), are hazardous compounds due to their adverse effects on human health. This study aims to investigate the levels, seasonal variations, spatial distribution, potential sources, and associated health risks associated with BTEX compounds and asbestos fibers in the ambient air of Tabriz. Air samples were taken at 16 different locations during the 2020-2021 period.

Cancer nurses' perspective of error disclosure from nurses to patients: A qualitative descriptive study.

Purpose: This study aims at exploring Cancer Nurses' Perspective of Error Disclosure.

Methods: This qualitative descriptive study was conducted in 2022, Iran. Data collection methods included observation (121 h), and semi-structured interviews (12 interviews with nurses, and nursing managers).

KIR-HLA gene diversities and susceptibility to lung cancer.

Killer-cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIR) are essential for acquiring natural killer (NK) cell effector function, which is modulated by a balance between the net input of signals derived from inhibitory and activating receptors through engagement by human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I ligands. KIR and HLA loci are polygenic and polymorphic and exhibit substantial variation between individuals and populations. We attempted to investigate the contribution of KIR complex and HLA class I ligands to the genetic predisposition to lung cancer in the native population of southern Iran.

Self-Compassion and Adherence to Treatment in Patients with Cancer.

Background: Emotional disorders and depression make cancer patients reluctant about adherence to their treatment. The present study was conducted to determine the relationship between self-compassion and adherence to treatment in cancer patients.

Materials And Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 214 patients with cancer in 2019.
