This work reports the results of both psychological and electrophysiological experiments. It was carried out on 15 normal subjects by the method of cross-correlation analysis of EEGs recorded during recognition of tachistoscopically presented images of objects. Changes in the random component Cr of the cross-correlation were larger during recognition than during simple mobilization of the subject's attention.
