One of the most difficult tasks in medical practice is pharmacotherapy in elderly and senile patients. The complexity of pharmacotherapy in elderly patients is due to age-related physiological changes, high frequency of multimorbidity. The age of patients no longer precludes surgical intervention, and surgical procedures are often performed on elderly patients with complex comorbidities.

Chlamydia trachomatis infection positivity rates determined by nucleic acid amplification test in patients of hospitals in the northeastern region of Ukraine.

There are no accurate data regarding the prevalence of Chlamydia trachomatis infection in Ukraine. This study aims to estimate the prevalence in the northeastern region of the country through reviewing nucleic acid amplification test results in patients of medical institutions in the Kharkov region during 2014-2016. Samples from 6920 patients (5028 women and 1892 men) aged 12-76 years were tested.

[SACCADES AND PRESACCADIC SPIKE POTENTIAL DURING THE GAME OF TETRIS].

Saccades and microsaccades were studied during a game of Tetris using the method of EOG. In the experiments 19 players of different skill level were involved. EOG was recorded in monopolar mode with respect to the ear electrodes in 6-points around both eyes to account for the gaze displacement in 8-direction.
