[Comparative characterization of walking biomechanical parameters in hip prosthesis users with mechanical and electronic knee modules].

Unlabelled: According to many studies, prostheses with electronic knee modules have some important technical advantages over mechanical knee modules, allowing the user to have a more active lifestyle and significantly improving the overall quality of life. However, we have found no published Russian studies of the biomechanics of walking on such prostheses for more than 20 years of their use in Russia.

Objective: To compare spatial and temporal parameters of walking in patients after hip replacement using prostheses with electronic and mechanical knee modules.

[Immunoregulatory proteins and cytokines in the blood of patients with Graves' disease].

Background: Immunoregulatory proteins (alpha-2-macroglobulin, lactoferrin) actively participate in inflammatory and autoimmune processes, affect synthesis and transport of hormones and cytokines, and control cell proliferation and apoptosis. However, the role of these proteins in the pathogenesis of Graves' disease (GD) is poorly understood. Objective - the study objective was to determine blood levels of alpha-2-macroglobulin (α2-MG), lactoferrin (LF), and cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8, and IFN-γ) in GD.

[Cytokine profile changes in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis-associated uveitis].

Aim: to identify the differences between serum cytokine profiles in juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) with or without uveal tract inflammation.

Material And Methods: Serum cytokine profiles were studied in two groups of patients: 20 children with JIA and JIA-associated uveitis and 33 children, who had no signs of uveitis under basic therapy for their JIA. All the patients showed drug remission of articular syndrome.

[Complications after cardiac injuries].

An analysis of 293 victims with cardiac and pericardium injuries was made. Cardiac complications could appear suddenly and be registered on any stage of treatment process. They differentiated by character and duration of wound process.
