In this study, we explored the relationship between developmental differences in gray matter structure and grammar learning ability in 159 Dutch-speaking individuals (8 to 25 yr). Image guided cervical brachytherapy practice patterns: 2023/2024 survey of the American brachytherapy society.

Background: An update of the 2007 and 2014 surveys of the American Brachytherapy Society (ABS) will elucidate current practice patterns of cervical cancer brachytherapy.

Methods: A 40-question survey was sent to all ABS members in June-July 2023 and February 2024; 167 responses were received, with 140 used for analysis. Results were compared to the 2014 survey using chi-squared testing.

Consensus Guidelines for Delineation of Clinical Target Volumes for Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy for Intact Cervical Cancer: An Update.

Purpose: Accurate target delineation is essential when using intensity modulated radiation therapy for intact cervical cancer. In 2011, the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group published a consensus guideline using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The current project expands on the previous atlas by including computed tomography (CT)-based contours, contours with MRI and positron emission tomography (PET) registrations, the addition of common and complex scenarios, and incorporating information on simulation and treatment planning techniques.

Women live longer than men but spend more years in poor health. Menopausal symptoms are not generally associated with adverse health outcomes. However, increasingly, evidence suggests they can significantly impact future health and longevity.
