As a future fuel, obtaining hydrogen from water could be a game changer for the renewable energy sector, because it has the potential to be used as an alternative to fossil fuels. The current project has been designed to develop catalysts that can produce hydrogen from water on irradiation by sunlight. For this purpose, CdS, Cu/CdS, Pd/CdS, and Cu-Pd/CdS catalysts were successfully synthesised and utilized for hydrogen generation.

Developing an efficient and cost-effective wound-healing substance to treat wounds and regenerate skin is desperately needed in the current world. The present study evaluatedwound healing andantioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory activities of propolis mediated silver nanoparticles. Extract of Bee propolis from northeast Punjab, Pakistan, has been prepared via maceration and subjected to chemical identification.

Quantifying interseismic deformation of fault networks which are predominantly deforming in a north-south direction is challenging, because GNSS networks are usually not dense enough to resolve deformation at the level of individual faults. The alternative, interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR), provides high spatial resolution but is limited by a low sensitivity to N-S motion. We study the active normal fault network of Western Türkiye, which is undergoing rapid N-S extension, using InSAR.

Article Synopsis
  • - Insufficient vitamin D levels are linked to chronic conditions like cancers, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, particularly coronary artery disease (CAD), with enzymes involved in vitamin D metabolism potentially affecting these levels.
  • - The study analyzed genetic mutations (rs1562902 C > T, rs12255372 G > T, and Δ32 bp deletion) for their relationships with reduced vitamin D and CAD risk, using specific PCR techniques for genotyping.
  • - Results showed significant associations between certain genetic variants and higher CAD risk, particularly the rs1562902 C > T genotype and Δ32 deletion, suggesting these mutations may be genetic indicators for CAD susceptibility.

Solitary wave solutions to the nonlinear evolution equations have recently attracted widespread interest in engineering and physical sciences. In this work, we investigate the fractional generalised nonlinear Pochhammer-Chree equation under the power-law of nonlinearity with order m. This equation is used to describe longitudinal deformation wave propagation in an elastic rod.
