It was established that the wires were composites and consisted of a TiNi matrix and a TiO + TiNi surface layer. Structural methods showed that the wire matrix was formed by grains of up to 20 nm in size.

The phase composition of the TiNiV system is the TiNi matrix, spherical particles of TiNiV, the secondary phase TiNi(V). Doping of TiNi alloys with vanadium atoms leads to an increase in the stability of high-temperature B2 and rhombohedral R-phases.
