The objective of this study was to characterize the progression of rigor mortis and evaluate the influence of chilling time on carcass characteristics, colour, and tenderness of Botucatu rabbit meat in both males and females. The muscles analyzed were the longissimus thoracis et lumborum (LTL) and biceps femoris (BF). As chilling time progressed, weight loss due to chilling increased (P < 0.

The incidence of stricture formation in CD has remained unchanged over the last several decades. Factors promoting intestinal fibrosis are currently unclear, but diet may represent an underestimated risk factor for intestinal fibrosis by modification of both the host immune response and intestinal microbial composition.

In this retrospective study, we searched for a gene signature potentially predictive of the response to the addition of cetirizine to checkpoint inhibition (nivolumab or pembrolizumab with or without previous ipilimumab). Transcriptomic analysis showed that inducible T cell costimulator ligand (ICOSLG) expression directly correlated with the disease control rate (DCR) when detected with a loading value > 0.

Urinary para-hydroxyphenylacetic acid (u-pHPAA), a metabolite of tyrosine, has been proposed as a potential biomarker for these diseases. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of u-pHPAA and tyrosine as biomarkers.
