European consensus on endoscopic surgery for bilateral vocal fold immobility: classification and nomenclature.

Introduction: There are inconsistencies in how different endoscopic procedures to manage Bilateral Vocal Fold Immobility (BVFI) have been described in the literature. This limits our ability to compare functional outcomes. There is no unifying international terminology available that precisely describes the anatomical boundaries and extent of the different types of treatment.

Management of Posterior Glottic Stenosis: A Systematic Review.

Objective: To review the current literature about surgical management and postoperative outcomes of posterior glottic stenosis (PGS).

Data Sources: PubMED, Scopus, and Cochrane Library.

Methods: Three investigators conducted a comprehensive review of the literature related to the epidemiology, etiologies, and management of adult patients with PGS through the PRISMA statements.

Adjuvant treatments for recurrent respiratory papillomatosis: a descriptive review and proposed management guideline in adults.

Objective: Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis is a rare disease characterised by growth of papilloma within the respiratory tract. The disease course is variable but can require frequent surgical interventions alongside adjuvant medical treatments. There is no definitive curative treatment or gold-standard guidelines for management.

Open laryngotracheal reconstruction for iatrogenic posterior glottic stenosis in adults: international multicenter experience.

Objective: Posterior glottic stenosis (PGS) has a significant impact on breathing and quality of life, and remains a challenging condition to manage. Literature does not provide a single optimal approach. In this study we aim to assess post-operative outcomes of adult patients with acquired PGS treated with open laryngotracheal reconstruction (LTR) with autologous or cadaveric rib grafting.

Real-world overall survival after alternative dosing for pembrolizumab in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer: A nationwide retrospective cohort study with a non-inferiority primary objective.

Background: High and increasing expenses on pembrolizumab ask for more cost-effective and sustainable treatment strategies to improve affordability of healthcare. Therefore, a part of the Dutch hospitals implemented an alternative, partially lower, weight-based dosing protocol for pembrolizumab. This provided the unique opportunity to compare the overall survival (OS) of the alternative pembrolizumab dosing protocol to standard dosing using a nationwide registry in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients.
