The notions of an ideal and a fuzzy ideal in BN-algebras are introduced. The properties and characterizations of them are investigated. The concepts of normal ideals and normal congruences of a BN-algebra are also studied, the properties of them are displayed, and a one-to-one correspondence between them is presented.

The aim of this study was to prove whether anthropogenic pollution affects antioxidant defense mechanisms such as superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) activity, ferritin (FRT) concentration and total antioxidant status (TAS) in human serum. The study area involves polluted and salted environment (Kujawy region; northern-middle Poland) and Tuchola Forestry (unpolluted control area). We investigated 79 blood samples of volunteers from polluted area and 82 from the control in 2008 and 2009.

Therefore, it is a great need to establish the reference interval for hepcidin and its precursor. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of age and sex on serum prohepcidin concentration in healthy adults.

In addition, available data on the prognosis in this condition in men and women are also scarce.
Aim: To assess gender-related differences in treatment and event-free survival in patients with IHD undergoing non-emergency coronary angiography.
Objective And Design: It is believed that the magnitude of the systemic inflammatory response induced by percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) impacts on the long-term outcomes in patients with stable angina (SA) and unstable angina (UA). We aimed to determine whether an inflammatory response appears in in-stent restenosis (ISR) patients undergoing balloon angioplasty and to assess its pattern and magnitude in relation to SA and UA subjects.
Subjects: 80 patients (59 with SA, 10 with UA, 11 with ISR) were enrolled into the prospective study.
To assess the value of serial C-reactive protein (CRP), serum amyloid A (SAA), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) evaluation in the risk stratification in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. The study was designed as a prospective cohort trial with a 1-year follow-up. Eighty patients (70 with stable angina, 10 with unstable angina) were enrolled.

The study included 71 children and young adults (46 F, 25 M) aged from 6 years to 27 years, on the gluten-free diet (in some cases unrestricted) for at least 4 years because of coeliac disease diagnosed according to ESPGHAN criteria. Serum samples of all patients were examined simultaneously for IgAEmA titer by indirect immunofluorescence and IgAtTG level by ELISA test.
