Background: The present study aimed to comprehensively evaluate the anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties of Globularia cordifolia L.
Samples: The plant material was collected and extracted using the maceration method. Antioxidant activities were assessed through DPPH (i.
Cell-cell fusion has been implicated in various physiological and pathological processes, including cancer progression. This study investigated the role of cell-cell fusion in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), focusing on its contribution to chemoresistance and tumor evolution. By co-culturing drug-sensitive and drug-resistant NSCLC cell lines, we observed spontaneous cell-cell fusion events, particularly under gefitinib selection.

This study aims to present the clinical, biochemical, genetic, and neuroimaging findings of GA1 patients, emphasizing the importance of early detection and the potential benefits of incorporating GA1 into NBS programs. The demographic, clinical, and laboratory findings of GA1 patients were reviewed retrospectively.

The results indicate that the maceration method yields extracts with higher antioxidant activity compared to the rotavapor method (DPPH IC: 260.70 ± 65.

We retrospectively analyzed 349 LGLL/TCUS patients, 672 MN patients, and 1443 CH individuals to establish the incidence, genetic landscape, and clinical phenotypes of CH in LGLL. We identified 8% of cases overlapping with MN, while CH was found in an additional 19% of cases (CH + /LGLL) of which TET2 (23%) and DNMT3A (14%) were the most common.

Myelin biogenesis requires an enormously productive biosynthetic machinery for generating and delivering these large amounts of newly synthesized lipids. Yet, a complete understanding of this process remains elusive.

In this study, we evaluated the diagnostic yield of exome sequencing-based CNV analysis in 449 patients with suspected Mendelian disorders. We aimed to assess the diagnostic yield of this recently utilized method and expand the clinical spectrum of intragenic CNVs.

However, cases with multiple DNMT3A can be also encountered but their clinical and genetic landscape remains unexplored. We retrospectively analyzed 533 cases with DNMT3A identified out of 5,603 consecutive MNs, of whom 8.

Many of the species are found in endemic regions, serving as important indicators for the conservation of biological diversity. Therefore, research on the morphology, seed and embryo structures, chemical composition, and taxonomy of orchids is crucial for species conservation, habitat restoration, and the sustainability of natural habitats.

Method: Patients followed up for AMLs between January 2014 and January 2024 were screened.
Background: The study aimed to investigate the association of second and fourth-digit (2D:4D) ratios with metabolic syndrome (MS) and cardiovascular disease risk (CVR).
Method: This case-control study was conducted between February and March 2024 with 200 participants (100 patients +100 controls). Biochemical parameters (glucose, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, haemogram, HbA1C) were recorded.

However, the existing literature has not investigated how green growth affects environmental degradation and environmental sustainability variables. In light of this gap, this study aims to analyse the impact of green growth and institutional quality on CO emissions, ecological footprint and inverse load capacity factor in OECD countries by constructing three different models.

Risk of tMN is high in recipients of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (aHSCT). Acquisition of genomic mutations represents a key pathogenic driver but the origins, timing and dynamics, particularly in the context of preexisting or emergent clonal hematopoiesis (CH), have not been sufficiently clarified.

In Drosophila embryos, the midgut musculature is formed through collective migration of caudal visceral mesoderm (CVM) cells, but how gene expression changes as cells migrate is not well understood. Here, we have focused on ten genes expressed in the CVM and the cis-regulatory sequences controlling their expression.

Among these, Primary Immune Regulatory Disorders (PIRDs) constitute a subset of IEIs characterized by diverse clinical phenotypes, prominently featuring severe atopy, autoimmunity, lymphoproliferation, hyperinflammation, autoinflammation, and susceptibility to malignancies. According to the latest report from the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS), PIRDs arise from mutations in various genes including LYST, RAB27A, AP3B1, AP3D1, PRF1, UNC13D, STX11, STXBP2, FAAP24, SLC7A7, RASGRP1, CD70, CTPS1, RLTPR, ITK, MAGT1, PRKCD, TNFRSF9, SH2DIA, XIAP, CD27 (TNFRSF7), FAS (TNFRSF6), FASLG (TNFSF6), CASP10, CASP8, FADD, LRBA, STAT3, AIRE, ITCH, ZAP70, TPP2, JAK1, PEPD, FOXP3, IL2RA, CTLA4, BACH2, IL2RB, DEF6, FERMT1, IL10, IL10RA, IL10RB, NFAT5, TGFB1, and RIPK1 genes.
