Facile In-Situ Fabrication of a Ternary ZnO/TiO/Ag Nanocomposite for Enhanced Bactericidal and Biocompatibility Properties.

This paper presents for the first time a successful fabrication of ternary ZnO/TiO/Ag nanocomposites consisting of zinc oxide (ZnO), titania (TiO) and silver (Ag) nanoparticles (NPs) synthesised using fruit (MCF) extract. ZnONPs were synthesised using the co-precipitation method, and TiO and Ag were introduced into the precursor solutions under microwave irradiation to obtain ZnO/TiO/Ag nanocomposites (NCs). This material demonstrated enhanced bactericidal effect towards bacterial pathogens compared to that of the binary TiO/Ag, Ag and TiO alone.

The association between sociodemographic, hormonal, tubo-ovarian factors and bacterial count in and infections with infertility.

To determine if there is an association between the and infections with socio-demographic and clinical factors, and also with infertility. We conducted a study on 100 infertile married women and 100 control group, and collected data on the socio-demographic, hormonal and tubo-ovarian factors. The results of the endocervical swabs were analyzed for and infection, the bacterial counts were also determined.

Isolation of Mycoplasma genitalium from endocervical swabs of infertile women.

Objectives: To determine the prevalence of Chlamydia trachomatis (C. trachomatis) infection among Saudi women, its clinical presentation, and its association to infertility.

Methods: This study was conducted between October 2012 and July 2013 at King Khalid University Hospital and King Abdulaziz University Hospital, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
