Since the first successful use of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), much has changed in its technology, area of use, and management. Despite suggestions in guidelines, the institutional behavior may change based on institutional experience and established habits. This so-called "deviation" may alter management strategies in favorable or unfavorable ways.

Allogeneic grafts can also be preferred as an alternative to autogenous grafts in cases of vertical and horizontal bone deficiencies. The aim of this study is to evaluate the osseointegration levels of lathe-faced titanium implants placed together with allogeneic bone tissue transplants obtained from tibia, femur, and mandible bones using a biomechanical method.

The main objective was to assess the degree of improvement in osseointegration of titanium implants resulting from these interventions.
Materials And Methods: In this study, 32 female rats were utilized and randomly allocated into four groups ( = 8 each): machined surface titanium implants (control), those roughened by the MAO method, those coated with graphene oxide-doped MAO, and those with a graphite-doped MAO coating.
Background: Dental implant-supported prostheses have been scientifically accepted and have been a common treatment choice in the case reconstructing of partial or total tooth loss. In additon, bone grafts (alloplast, xsenograft, allograft) are frequently used in implant and sinus lift surgical procedures.
Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the bone-implant osseointegration levels of titanium implants simultaniously placed with different bone grafts.
Background: Hyperlipidemia caused by a high-fat diet (HFD) has many adverse effects on the cardiovascular system, including vascular problems. In addition, a HFD also has significant adverse effects on bone health.
Aim: The aim of this study is to examine bone-implant osteointegration and new bone formation in peri-implant defects in fasting and high-fatty diet applied rats.

Objective: To present a case with infliximab-induced retrobulbar optic neuritis.
Case Description: A 58-year-old woman presented to our clinic with a two-day history of blurred vision in her right eye. She had numerous uveitis attacks previously, and she was on infliximab treatment for ankylosing spondylitis.
Background: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the local reactions and new bone formation of rat subcutaneous and bone tissue to different calcium silicate cements.
Methods: In this study, 80 rats were divided into five groups as control, BIOfactor MTA (BIO), NeoMTA Plus (NEO), MTA Repair Hp (REP), Biodentine (DENT) and then into two subgroups according to sacrification times (7, 30 days; n = 8). Polyethylene tubes filled with appropriate materials (test groups); empty tubes (control group) were implanted into the dorsum of each rat subcutaneously.
Objective: The purpose of this retrospective study was to investigate the effects of Botulinum Toxin-A (BTX-A) injection into the mentalis muscle on the free gingival graft (FGG).
Materials And Methods: Forty patients with keratinized gingiva insufficiency and Cairo's RT 2 gingival recession (formerly classified as Miller class III) in their mandibular central incisors were randomly divided into two groups: FGG and FGG + BTX. Plaque index (PI), gingival index (GI), probing pocket depth (PPD), keratinized gingiva width (KGW), attached gingiva width (AGW), clinical attachment level (CAL), gingival thickness (GT), gingival recession amount (GRA), gingival recession width (GRW), and root closure percentage (RCP%) parameters were measured at baseline and at first, third, and sixth months after the operation.
Aim: This study aimed to examine the systemic effects of contemporary calcium silicate cements (CSC) contain different radiopacifiers in rats.
Materials & Methods: Polyethylene tubes filled with BIOfactor MTA (BIO), Neo MTA Plus (NEO), MTA Repair HP (REP), Biodentine (DENT) and empty tubes (control group) were implanted into the subcutaneous tissues of 80 male Spraque Dawley rats for 7 and 30 days ( = 8). After 7 and 30 day, samples of liver and kidney tissues were submitted to histopathological analysis.
This in vivo study aimed to do a biomechanical analysis of the early period bone-implant connection of titanium implants simultaneously inserted with xsenogenic and allogenic bone ring. In this study, 28 Sprague Dawley female rats were used. Four rats were killed to obtain an allogenic bone ring, and after this, the remaining rats were divided into control (n=8), xsenogenic (n=8), and allogenic (n=8) bone ring groups.

The rats were randomly divided into 5 groups: acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) (n=10), treated with 20 mg/kg of ASA; ASA+CLPD (Clopidogrel): (n=10), treated with 20 mg/kg of ASA and 30 mg/kg of clopidogrel; ASA+PRSG (Prasugrel): (n=10), treated with 20 mg/kg of ASA and 15 mg/kg of prasugrel; ASA+TCGR (Ticagrelor): (n=10), treated with 20 mg/kg of ASA and 300 mg/kg of ticagrelor; and a control group (n=10) received no further treatment after implant surgery. Bone defects created half of the implant length circumferencial after implant insertion and defects filled with bone grafts.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of systemic irisin hormone application on new bone formation in peri-implant bone defects. After surgically creating peri-implant bone defects in the metaphyseal part of the tibiae of rats, the rats were randomly divided into 2 equal groups: a control group and an irisin group. In the control group, the rats received no further treatment during the 4-week experimental period after the surgery.
