Aggressive Male Breast Cancer-Clinical and Therapeutic Aspects Correlated with the Histopathological Examination: A Case Report and Literature Review.

Breast cancer is often seen as a disease that occurs in women, but it can also appear in men in a very small percentage, below 1%. Men have a minimal amount of breast tissue compared to women, which has the potential to become malignant in a similar way to women, although much less frequently. A patient presented with advanced local invasion due to the low amount of breast tissue, with the tumor quickly invading the adjacent structures.

[Diffuse hepatic hemangiomatosis--case report].

Hemangiomatosis of the liver is growing in the last decades, because of the abdominal imaging progresses: brain CT scan, MRI. In the presented case, the onset was with symptoms and biochemical disorders characteristic for acute viral hepatitis, with negative serological markers for the A and B hepatitis viruses. The persistence of the clinical symptoms and of the hepatic and biliary retention tests, determined the abdominal echography; which orient the diagnosis to vascular tumour with liver metastasis.

[Nuclear stethoscopy. The clinical technic, methods and applications].

The paper reports on a new way of cardiological, radionuclidic investigation of the patients, a technique used for the first time in Romania. The technique and investigation method are presented in detail, with emphasis on some more important stages. As resulting from the description of the methodology, the performances of the left ventricle consist of three types of radioactivity/time curves at: first passage, beat by beat, and their summation.

New possibilities in colour echotomography (computer-aided colour echotomography).

The present work discusses the technical bases and clinical significance of colour echography. Connecting the echograph to a high capacity computer through a Videotron permits the processing of colour images with the help of clinical programmes. This increases the accuracy of the diagnosis, and broadens the sphere of application of echography.

[Urinary carcinoembryonic antigen in patients with urothelial tumors. Correlations with the stage of the disease and the modal chromosome number].

The carcino-embrionary antigen was estimated in 26 patients without malignant diseases (15 with inguinal hernia and 11 with urinary lithiasis--all of them before surgery), and in 47 patients with urothelial tumors.
