Background: The purpose of this study was to determine the inter- and intra-observer reliability of the patellotrochlear index (PTI) on magnetic resonance images (MRI) in patients with patellofemoral pain. The correlation between the PTI measured on MRI and the modified Insall-Salvati (MIS) ratio measured on radiographs was also assessed.
Methods: The PTI was assessed on MRI images and the MIS ratio on radiographs of 66 knees of 62 patients.
Purpose: To determine short-term patient-reported outcomes following distomedial tibial tubercle transfer (TTT) in patients with patellar maltracking and patella alta without instability.
Methods: A single-surgeon case series study was performed on patients receiving distomedial TTT for the indication of patellar maltracking and patella alta without instability, after nonresponse to conservative treatment. Patient-reported outcomes were assessed preoperatively and at 3-, 6-, 12-, and 24-month follow-up using Kujala, Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS), and visual analog scale (VAS) pain scores.
Introduction: Treatment and risk factors for Parvimonas micra spinal infections are scarcely researched. This study reports a case and presents a systematic review of the literature to provide evidence-based ground for diagnosis and treatment of P. micra spinal infections.

Methods: A systematic review was performed in the PubMed, Embase and Cochrane databases from inception to March 15, 2017. Eligible were studies that analyzed the presence of OPTC in peritoneal fluid, by any method, both before and after resection in adults who underwent intentionally curative pancreatic resection for histopathologically confirmed pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma in absence of macroscopic peritoneal metastases.

Purpose: For years, numerous studies have been performed to determine whether mobile-bearing total knee arthroplasty (MB-TKA) or fixed-bearing total knee arthroplasty (FB-TKA) is the preferential design in total knee arthroplasty. Reviews and meta-analyses on this subject have focused on a relatively small number of randomised controlled trials, possibly missing important results of smaller studies. The goal of this review was to provide a comprehensive overview of all literature comparing MB-TKA and FB-TKA in the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee.

Methods: Nineteen patients underwent a gel-type autologous chondrocyte implantation (GACI) procedure after ACL reconstruction. Median timeframe between ACL reconstruction and GACI procedure was 52 months (range 16 to 369).
Purpose: The objective of this study was to evaluate the inter-observer reliability and the intra-observer reliability of four patellar height ratios: Insall-Salvati (IS), modified Insall-Salvati (MIS), Blackburne-Peel (BP) and Caton-Deschamps (CD).
Methods: The patellar height ratios were assessed by four independent examiners using weight-bearing lateral knee radiographs in 30° flexion. Intra-class correlation coefficients and Fleiss' kappa's were determined.

Study Design Retrospective case series. Objective The objective of this study is to describe an alternative technique to attain interbody lumbar fusion in the event of pseudarthrosis after axial lumbar interbody fusion (AxiaLIF) and to assess its safety. Methods Three patients who suffered from pseudarthrosis after AxiaLIF underwent revision surgery with a DEVEX cage (DePuy Synthes, Raynham, MA, United States) through an anterior approach.

A 10-year-old patient underwent epiphysiodesis of the knee with eight-Plates. She was followed up and genu recurvatum developed as a complication.

Methods: Between 1981 and 1999, 98 Swanson MTP-1 prostheses were implanted in 84 patients (14 bilateral). The average follow-up was 19 years.
Purpose: We tested the hypothesis that there are no differences between apparently isolated fractures of the radial diaphysis and isolated fractures of the radial diaphysis with concomitant dislocation of the distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ) in function, disability, and DRUJ stability more than 13 years after near-anatomic open reduction with plate and screw fixation.
Methods: We evaluated 17 adult patients with a diaphyseal fracture of the radius without a fracture of the ulna an average of 19 years after surgery (range, 13-33 y). Of these patients, 7 had concomitant dislocation of the DRUJ (Galeazzi fracture).
Objective: To investigate the relationship between overweight and obesity and sick leave.
Design: Systematic, qualitative review.
Literature Search: A search in diverse databases was performed.
