Background And Aim Of The Work: The authors reported a personal case series of open release of stiff wrists performed after previous internal osteosynthesis of distal radius fractures.
Methods: From a series of 16 patients operated by a single surgeon, 12 were evaluated at a mean 7.1 years follow-up (range 2.
Background: Fetal hydrops is a serious condition difficult to manage, often with a poor prognosis, and it is characterized by the collection of fluid in the extravascular compartments. Before 1968, the most frequent cause was the maternal-fetal Rh incompatibility. Today, 90% of the cases are non-immune hydrops fetalis.

Our expression is arrived at from comparing explicit perturbative results with general expectations from the integrable structure of a closely related collinear limit. A crucial ingredient of the analysis is an all-order extension for the central emission vertex that we recently computed at next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy.

This kind of lesions may be progressive and extend to adjacent tendons in a relatively rapid succession; therefore, they should be treated urgently. The intervention must provide for the removal of the cause of mechanical unbalance or friction before acting on the tendon, thus a radiographic study of the wrist is essential to plan the treatment of any closed rupture of a flexor tendon.

Three pet rabbits presented within 24 hours of parturition with a red mass protruding from the vagina, which was diagnosed as uterine prolapse. In the first case, an attempt to reduce the prolapse by manual compression was ineffective.

Arthroscopy is an useful tool in the management of scaphoid fractures to visualize potentially associated lesions. With arthroscopic assistance, we often found scapholunate ligament lesions.

Its role in the management of persistent pulmonary hypertension in preterm infants is not clear. Although guidelines do not exist, some studies have shown that iNO could be used as a rescue therapy in preterm neonate with severe pulmonary hypertension.

CLINICAL FINDINGS Abdominal radiography revealed a diffuse increase in the opacity of the urinary bladder attributable to urinary sludge. In 1 rabbit, abdominal ultrasonography revealed several mass-like lesions protruding from the mucosal surface into the lumen of the urinary bladder.

We present the results of nine patients with atrophic pseudoarthrosis of humeral shaft treated with angular stability plate associated with allograft and platelet-rich plasma (PRP), after a first treatment with intramedullary nail to correct the fracture.
Material And Methods: From January 2012 to December 2014, nine patients were treated for atrophic pseudoarthrosis (PSA) of humeral shaft treated previously using intramedullary nail; seven humeral diaphysis fractures were located in the middle-proximal third and two in the middle third.
We introduce a completely local subtraction method for fully differential predictions at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) accuracy for jet cross sections and use it to compute event shapes in three-jet production in electron-positron collisions. We validate our method on two event shapes, thrust and C parameter, which are already known in the literature at NNLO accuracy and compute for the first time oblateness and the energy-energy correlation at the same accuracy.

The azygos vein runs through the abdominal cavity along the right side of the vertebral bodies, in a cranial direction, passes through the diaphragm and reaches the mediastinum, where it forms the arch of the azygos which flows into the superior vena cava. Along its course, the azygos vein communicates with the intercostal veins on the right, the hemiazygos vein that collects blood from the left lower intercostal veins, and accessory hemiazygos vein that drains into the left upper intercostal veins.

Real-emission corrections to gg-->H, which lead to H+2 jet events, are calculated at order alpha(4)(s). Contributions include top-quark triangles, boxes, and pentagon diagrams and are evaluated analytically for arbitrary top mass m(t). This new source of H+2 jet events is compared to the weak-boson fusion cross section for a range of Higgs boson masses.

Other authors performed a physiologic repair, because the combination was considered unsuitable for an anatomic repair. We describe the case of a 26-day-old baby with such anatomy who was successfully treated with an arterial switch operation.

The resolution of the crystal structures of seven AzPro-containing peptides, presenting a set of ten AzPro motifs, reveals the structural properties of this particular aza-residue. Because of sterical hindrances, both nitrogen atoms are out of planarity, and the reduced electronic conjugation in the two AzPro-adjacent amide groups probably explains the longer amide bond distances and the weak proton-accepting character of the two pyrazolidine nitrogens.

The x-ray diffraction analyses of three N- and C-terminally blocked L,D dipeptides, namely t-Boc-D-Leu-L-Leu-OMe (1), t-Boc-L-Ile-D-aIle-OMe (2), and t-Boc-D-aIle-L-Ile-OMe (3) containing enantiomeric or diastereomeric amino acid residues have been carried out. The structures were determined by direct methods and refined anisotropically to final Rf actors of 0.077, 0.

A solution and crystal-state conformational analysis, performed by using FT-IR, 1H NMR, CD, and X-ray diffraction techniques, showed that the peptide is folded into a regular, right-handed 3(10)-helix stabilized by seven consecutive N-H..
