Objective: To evaluate the outcomes of children with vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) and obstructive megaureter (OM) utilizing various laparoscopic and robot-assisted approaches.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective review of all pediatric laparoscopic and robot-assisted cases for lower ureter pathology was performed between 2016-2022 in 13 academic centers worldwide. Five surgical approaches were assessed: LEUR, LVCUR, LDECUR, RALUR, and RADECUR.
Background: Failure after open ureteral reimplantation has been reported to occur in 2 to 7% of cases. While a second open reconstructive surgery is appropriate in most cases, there are data suggesting similar outcomes utilizing the laparoscopic approach. The objective of this study is to describe a modification and report our experience with laparoscopic ureteral reimplantation after failed open reimplantation reinforced with a psoas hitch.

Unlabelled: The frequency of fractures of the proximal humerus (PH) is 4-5% of fractures of all human bones and can reach 80% of all bone injuries of the humerus. An analysis of the long-term results of the methods used to treat fractures of the proximal humerus showed the absence of a generally accepted universal method that provides consistently good results for all variants of fractures of the PH.
Purpose Of The Study: Creation of a complex highly effective system for the treatment of PH fractures, which includes a minimally invasive method of surgical treatment using the method of cephalomedullary osteosynthesis with direct locking pins and a highly specialized program of rehabilitation measures using a biofeedback (BFB) device, which will reduce the duration of treatment and improve the results of functional recovery injured limb.

The article considers issues of training and motivation of first aid personnel whose duties are to provide it in accordance with Federal law. This category of personnel includes employees who received appropriate training, including military personnel and employees of State Fire Service, rescue units and rescue services staff. The results of analysis of training of emergency personnel in first aid demonstrates that level of first aid skills of these categories of personnel is different.

Scrutiny of the literature over the past two decades indicates the absence of a unified tactic for the treatment of purulent-destructive forms of pyelonephritis in children, while more and more articles are appearing in terms of a low -key approach to the treatment of renal abscess in children.
Materials And Methods: From 2005 to 2019, we treated 59 children with the renal abscess.
Purpose: We present a multi-institution experience of laparoscopic and robotic-assisted reconstruction approach of lower-pole UPJO (ureteropelvic junction obstruction) in duplicated collecting systems.
Methods: Retrospective review of patients who underwent laparoscopic or robotic pyeloplasty for lower pole UPJO between 2011 and 2020. Patient demographics, perioperative surgical data, complications and outcomes are described.
Objective: To review and compare robotic ipsilateral uretero-ureterostomy (RIUU) and laparoscopic ipsilateral uretero-ureterostomy (LIUU) in terms of safety, efficacy, and outcomes.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective chart review, including all pediatric patients who underwent RIUU and LIUU at 5 different medical centers, between 2015 and 2019, was performed. Patient's demographics, perioperative data, surgical techniques, complications, and results were compared.
Objective: To compare 2 minimally invasive surgical options for the treatment of obstructed megaureter: robot assisted dismembered extravesical cross-trigonal ureteral reimplantation (RADECUR) and laparoscopic dismembered extravesical cross-trigonal ureteral reimplantation (LDECUR).
Methods: A 2 arm retrospective comparative study, including all pediatric patients who underwent ureteral reimplantation of unilateral obstructed megaureter, either by RADECUR or LDECUR. Patient demographics, perioperative surgical data, complications, and results are described.
Polyethylene glycol diacrylate-based hydrogels filled with calcium phosphates (CaP, Ca/P < 1.5) were stereolithographically fabricated as three-dimensional permeable biocomposites for bone tissue regeneration, probed by several instrumental techniques (including scanning electron microscopy, infrared and UV-vis spectroscopy), and subjected to rheological/mechanical property analysis. As the CaP content increased from 0 to 10 wt%, Young's modulus and mechanical strength increased from 4 to 11 kPa and from 34 to 167 kPa, respectively.

We aimed to evaluate the effect of amino acids (AAs) on expression of IGF1 and IGF1-dependent genes in human myotubes and skeletal muscle and supposed that AAs administration increases IGF1 levels in blood and expression of IGF1 and IGF1-dependent genes in trained skeletal muscle, thereby reducing training-induced muscle damage.
Design: Human myotubes were incubated with Arg and Leu for 24 h.
Aim: To evaluate the results of different methods of urine derivation in patients with postrenal anuria due to upper urinary tract (UUT) obstruction, caused by fungal bezoar.
Materials And Methods: The results of treatment of postrenal anuria in 8 patients without congenital obstructive anomalies of UUT in 5 clinics from 2004 to 2018 were analyzed. All patients from the birth received continuously two or more antibiotics for diseases not related to kidneys and the urinary tract.
Aim: to study the microstructure of the urethral plate in patients with a proximal form of hypospadias to justify the use of tissues from the ventral penile surface when creating an artificial urethra.
Materials And Methods: A histological study of surgical specimens from 10 patients with proximal hypospadias was carried out. The urethral plate, a strip of tissue from the ectopic external urethral orifice located in the penoscrotal angle, to the coronary sulcus, was completely excised and processed by various techniques.
Background: Rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the most common sports injuries of the knee joint. Today, we have a large number of approaches to arthroscopic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament that lead to successful outcomes and allow the patients to return to a significant level of activity post-operatively. Nevertheless, the return to competitions rate stays relatively low.

The study included the results of observation of 101 patients after shoulder dislocation without signs of damage of the rotator cuff before the trauma. All the patients were divided into 2 groups: older and younger than 60.

Wrist joint arthroscopy makes possible accurate assessment of intra-articular damage and reposition quality. The joint gap is to be enlarged for arthroscopy, but this can distort the topographic and anatomical relationships in the wrist joint.

This review discusses some contradictions concerning the newly proposed terminology, nomenclature, and classification. Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) is the most common cause of DSD, and its management also remains controversial.

Depending on the surgeon preferences, patients with duplex kidney may undergo heminephrectomy with ureterectomy using open or laparoscopic approach, uretero-cysto-anastomosis of the ectopic ureter or two ureters in a single block. Recently, there have been reports of inter-ureter anastomoses.

Material And Methods: 128 advanced age patients with polytrauma were enrolled.
Results: It was concluded that specialized prognosis scale for advanced age patients with polytrauma allowed to objectify the transition time between DCS stages that led to decrease of mortality by 10.
Introduction: Duplication of the upper urinary tract is one of the most common congenital urological anomalies. In patients with critically decreased or lost function of one of the renal segments, heminephrureterectomy is usually the treatment of choice. Until recently, this was an open surgery; in cases of complete removal of the ureter, an additional incision in the iliac region was required.

The following parameters were measured: magnitude and direction of displacement of system elements, pressure between fragments, and von Mises stress distribution in the fixator depending on support screw plunging into the sleeve. The results indicate that stability of the bone-nail system increases during fracture union and 10-mm shortening of the femoral neck axis, which is seen from a decrease in system deformation under load by 16.
