Methods: We conducted a prospective, blinded, observational, multicentre study. Patients aged 30-80 years presenting to the emergency department with acute chest pain and inconclusively elevated hs-troponins were included and underwent CCTA.
Nanoparticles (NPs) of iron oxide are dispersed in mixtures of water and ionic liquid, here ethylammonium nitrate (EAN), and the NP/NP and NP/solvent interactions are studied. They are analysed small-angle X-ray scattering and dynamic light scattering coupled to forced Rayleigh scattering, from 22 °C to 80 °C. The NPs are well-dispersed as individual objects in the whole range of compositions and temperatures thanks to sufficient repulsion due to the organization of the solvents at the interface.

Methods: Dexcom G6 CGM devices were applied to 59 postsurgical patients with hyperglycemia receiving CII. A hybrid approach combining CGM with periodic point-of-care blood glucose (POC-BG) tests with two phases (initial-ongoing) of validation was used to determine CGM accuracy.
Background And Purpose: Antiganglioside antibodies (AGAs) might be involved in the etiopathogenesis of many neurological diseases, such as Miller-Fisher syndrome (MFS) and Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). Available comprehensive reference data regarding AGA positivity rates and cross-responsiveness among AGAs (where one line immunoblot is positive for ≥1 AGA) during routine clinical care are scant.
Methods: In this 10-year monocentric retrospective study, 3560 immunoglobulin (Ig) G and IgM line blots (GA Generic Assays' Anti-Ganglioside Dot kit) obtained using cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and serum samples from 1342 patients were analyzed for AGA positivity in terms of 14 diagnosis categories and AGA cross-responsiveness.
Despite the increasing implementation of formative assessment in medical education, its' effect on learning behaviour remains questionable. This effect may depend on how students value formative, and summative assessments differently. Informed by Expectancy Value Theory, we compared test preparation, feedback use, and test-taking motivation of medical students who either took a purely formative progress test (formative PT-group) or a progress test that yielded study credits (summative PT-group).
