The aim of this article is to develop a navigation-guided oral and maxillofacial surgery including surgical planning, simulation and navigation in temporomandibular joint ankylosis case practiced in tertiary care hospital. After getting the computed tomographic angiography of head and neck, the special software of Brain lab is used to mark the arteries and veins of the patient, which was in close approximation to the mandibular condyle. Brain lab navigation system was used during the surgery to ascertain the middle meningeal artery location, and osteotomy cut was given.

Despite widespread use as an immunosuppressant, the therapeutic efficacy of the undecapeptide cyclosporine A (CyA) is compromised when given by the oral route because of the innate hydrophobicity of the drug molecule, potentially leading to poor aqueous solubility and bioavailability. The aim of this study was to develop and characterize nanofibers based on the water-miscible polymer polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), incorporating CyA preloaded into polymeric surfactants so as to promote micelle formation on hydration; therefore, this approach represents the novel combination of three dissolution enhancement methodologies, namely solid dispersion technology, micellar systems, and nanofibers with enhanced surface area. Background: The mechanistic (or mammalian) target of rapamycin (mTOR), a Ser/Thr kinase, associates with different subunits forming two functionally distinct complexes, mTORC1 and mTORC2, regulating a diverse set of cellular functions in response to growth factors, cellular energy levels, and nutrients. The mechanisms regulating mTORC1 activity are well characterized; regulation of mTORC2 activity, however, remains obscure. While studies conducted in Dictyostelium suggest a possible role of Ras protein as a potential upstream regulator of mTORC2, definitive studies delineating the underlying molecular mechanisms, particularly in mammalian cells, are still lacking.

The present study aimed at characterization of fertility-associated proteins in PR and RIR x Local roosters and was conducted on two generations of birds. Roosters were divided into high- (>50%) and low-fertility groups (<50%) based on sperm function tests and fertility rate in both the generations. The paradigm that chemical synthesis reduces the sintering temperature as compared to solid state synthesis seems to be violated in the case of the PrBaCo2O6-δ double perovskite. The sintering temperatures for pure phase samples synthesized through the solid state route (P-SSR) and the auto-combustion route (P-ACR) were found to be 1050 and 1150 °C, respectively. The porous microstructure of P-SSR is suitable for SOFC cathode materials while that of P-ACR is pore free.
