Methods: We assessed the profile of T lymphocyte subsets, characteristics of SAMHD1 and human leukocyte antigen DR (HLA-DR) expression in lung-spleen deficiency patients. At the same time, people living with human immunodeficiency virus / acquired immune deficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) (PLWHA) without obvious clinical symptoms and healthy donors in this area were used as controls.
Two novel nortriterpenoids together with 7 known compounds were isolated from the fruits of Evodia rutaecarpa. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis, X-ray, and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. Compound 1 is the first example of triterpenoid with a 27 (17 → 12)-abeo-five-ring skeleton.

The glutamate receptor α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazole-propionic acid receptor (AMPAR) is important for synaptic transmission, memory, and learning. The etiology of HE remains unclear.

Clinical Findings: We report a 41-year-old woman with PHA who showed an uncharacteristic "relapsing-remitting" evolution of brain lesions and was seropositive for hepatitis B virus (HBV).
