Do Occupational Therapy Goals for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder Reflect Participation? A Mapping to the ICF - CY and ICF Core Sets Study.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is on the rise worldwide with an increasing acknowledgement that its continuum of care to enhance participation should be multidisciplinary. The International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) and its derivatives ICF - Children and Youth (ICF - CY) and ICF Core Sets have been increasingly used among health professionals to enhance communication and documentation of outcomes. This study aimed at investigating the comprehensiveness of the ICF - CY and ICF Core Sets with regard to occupational therapy goals and the extent of participation representation in these goals.

Attitudes and perceived barriers to evidence-based practice among occupational therapists in Jordan.

Evidence-based practice (EBP) refers to the clinical decision-making process incorporating the best available evidence from research, therapists' clinical experience, and patient values. The current study aimed to examine the experience of Jordanian occupational therapy practitioners (OTs) in using EBP and to identify the perceived barriers to implementing EBP among OTs in Jordan. The study utilized a cross-sectional descriptive study design.

Coping with sensory changes after stroke: a qualitative study.

Background: Coping strategies were found to predict success in rehabilitation. Research is lacking in identifying the specific coping strategies used to adjust to sensory changes after stroke.

Objective: This study utilized a qualitative descriptive method to understand how individuals handle sensory changes after stroke.

Jordanian Radiologists' Perspectives and Application of Evidence-Based Radiology in Clinical Practice.

Purpose: To evaluate radiologists' education, knowledge and skills of research, attitude toward evidence-based radiology (EBR), understanding of terms and use of related published work in clinical practice and the association between these variables and sociodemographic characteristics. We also aim to assess the availability of resources and to identify sources and the main barriers to implementing EBR.

Materials And Methods: A total of 87 radiologists completed a questionnaire, which consisted of eight sections related to radiologists' demographic characteristics, and EBR-related questions.

A Qualitative Study of Stroke Survivors' Experience of Sensory Changes.

Background.: Previous literature examined tactile and proprioceptive changes after stroke; however, the lived experience of changes in all sensory systems is still a gap in the literature.
