In the ongoing quest for new treatments in medicine, traditional Chinese medicine offers unique insights and potential. Recently, studies on the ability of to inhibit M2-type tumour-associated macrophage polarisation by modulating the Wnt/β-catenin signalling pathway to suppress liver cancer have undoubtedly revealed new benefits and hope for this field of research. The purpose of this article is to comment on this study and explore its strengths and weaknesses, thereby providing ideas for the future treatment of liver cancer.

Article Synopsis
  • - Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are useful in disaster recovery for delivering data, but limited onboard energy restricts their operational time, causing challenges in effective data distribution.
  • - This study introduces a data dissemination strategy for multi-UAV-enabled Internet of Vehicles (IoV) to optimize bandwidth efficiency while minimizing energy use, focusing on a new problem called C2BS (Coding-based Cooperative Broadcast Scheduling).
  • - The work proposes a Genetic algorithm-based Cooperative Scheduling (GCS) algorithm to solve the C2BS problem, involving a detailed approach with coding schemes, fitness evaluation, and optimization techniques, with simulation results demonstrating its effectiveness.

Article Synopsis
  • - The text discusses the challenge of achieving high selectivity for ethanol in CO electroreduction reactions due to similar reduction potentials of other carbon products and lower energy barriers.
  • - Researchers report a novel catalyst made from a metal-organic framework (MOF) that achieved a Faradaic efficiency of 82.5% for ethanol production at -1.0 V, with an effective current density of 8.66 mA/cm².
  • - The study reveals that the multi-site synergies in the catalyst enhance carbon-carbon coupling, leading to increased efficiency, and confirms the reaction mechanisms through advanced theoretical and spectroscopic methods.

A nano-porous Al/Au skeleton is constructed to effectively improve the utilization rate of the active MnO and the overall adhesion between the current collector and MnO in an electrodeposition system. The Al/Au current collector is prepared by first forming a nano-porous structure on the surface of Al foil through etching modification, and subsequently coating an ultra-thin Au layer onto the Al foil. The active MnO is electrodeposited on the Al/Au current collector to fabricate a novel Al/Au/MnO electrode.

The bibliometric analysis uses the citation count of an article to measure its impact in the scientific community, but no study has been undertaken to determine the most influential papers in the field of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). This study aimed to investigate the global research interest regarding PBC in dentistry using a bibliometric approach. We searched the Web of Science Core Collection database to find the top 100 most cited (T100) articles focusing on PBC.
