Introduction: The prevalence of cardiovascular disease (CVD) is increasing. Furthermore, asymptomatic individuals may not receive timely preventive initiatives to minimise the risk of further CVD events. Paradoxically, 80% of CVD events are preventable by early detection, followed by prophylactic initiatives.
