[The influence of stress factors on the activities of operating staff of law-enforcement bodies].

The work is devoted to the problem concerning psychiatrists, psychophysiologists and medical psychologists who render assistance to the specialists dealing with extreme activities. The study of response of law-enforcement bodies' employees on operative work stressors, comparison of stress factors influencing on them, the ways to control the stress and manifestations of psychical dysadaptation with peculiarities of professional stress in servicemen are of great interest. The authors present the detailed analysis of investigations devoted to the general idea of psychical stress and private problems connected with stress development in employees of law-enforcement bodies dealing with operative work.

[Prognosis of remote consequences of combat mental trauma using logical statistical methods].

Prognosis of remote consequences of acute stress disorders and adaptation disorders as posttraumatic stress disorders (PTSD) is possible using relevant mathematical methods. The authors have used the following logical statistical methods: algorithms for search and statistical verification of optimal fragmentation of variables in multi-dimensional space ("Q-nearest neighbors", "statistically weighed syndromes") as well as a program of searching for multiple conjunctions of variables that allowed to single out statistically significant combinations of variables (p<0,001) and to divide the sample into two groups: with favorable and with unfavorable outcome both at the acute and remote stages of mental trauma. Predictors of unfavorable outcome found in the acute period of mental trauma were as follows: affective tension, impulsivity, high personal anxiety and depressive tendencies with reduced activity.

[Temporal decompressive laparoscopy-assisted colostomy].

Morphofunctional changes in intestinal wall above the obstruction were studied experimentally in 112 rats with low intestinal obstruction. Treatment with antioxidants and lasertherapy was developed. After removal of obstruction this complex permits to eliminate its negative local and general consequences 1.

[Long-term results of sphincter-saving operation in distal cancer of rectum].

Long-term results of the developed variant of sphincter-saving operation in distal cancer of the rectum were analyzed. The patients were operated at the age of 50-70 years. Local spread of tumor didn't exceed T2-stage, if the tumor located 3 cm from the serrate line of the anal canal.

[Features of surface architectonics and ultrastructure of peripheral blood in children with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus].

Electron microscopic study of the surface architectonics and ultrastructure of the peripheral blood erythrocytes in 25 children with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) revealed that the decrease of the count of disk-shaped cells, increased count of transitional and degenerative forms, and alteration of their ultrastructure. Traditional therapy failed to completely normalized these characteristics over the entire follow-up.

[Reversible red cell aggregation in children with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus].

Red cell aggregation has been studied by photometry in 47 children with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. The disease was associated with boosting of reversible red cell aggregation, which was most of all expressed during metabolic decompensation with ketoacidosis. When metabolic subcompensation was attained, this parameter did not completely normalize and still had to be corrected.
