ZJP exhibits inhibitory effects on recombinant human cytochrome P450 isoenzymes (rhP450s), especially on CYP2D6, whereas VEN undergoes extensive metabolism by CYP2D6. From this perspective, we investigated the influence of ZJP on the metabolism of VEN in vitro and in rats for the first time.
