Association between genetically proxied PPARG activation and psoriasis vulgaris: a Mendelian randomization study.

Background: Psoriasis is a common autoimmune disease in clinical practice, and previous observational studies have suggested that PPARG agonists such as Pioglitazone may be potential therapeutic agents. However, due to interference from various confounding factors, different observational studies have not reached a unified conclusion. We aim to evaluate the potential use of PPARG agonists for treating psoriasis from a new perspective through drug-targeted Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis.

Synergistically Enhanced Oxidase-like Property of Core-Shell MOF Nanozymes by Decorating Au and Ag/AgCl Nanoparticles for l-Cysteine Colorimetric Sensing.

Monitoring l-cysteine (l-Cys) is of importance for human health and food safety. Herein, we designed a novel strategy for bimetallic Au and Ag/AgCl anchoring on Ni-doped ZIF-67 to form core-shell nanocubes (Ni-ZIF-67/AuAg/AgCl) using the galvanic replacement processes. The unique properties of ZIF-67 nanocubes were conducive to generating strong synergistic catalytic effects with Au and Ag/AgCl, particularly when Ni-ZIF-67/AuAg/AgCl composites were employed as oxidase mimics for catalyzing the oxidation of 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB).

Synergistic effect of additives on cyclopropanation of olefins.

An efficient cyclopropanation of olefins with Zn(CH2I)2, a catalytic amount of CCl3CO2H, and 1,2-dimethoxyethane at room temperature is described. A wide variety of olefins, including acid-sensitive substrates, can be cyclopropanated in 71-99% yield.

Acid-catalyzed regioselective sulfetherification of alkenols and stereoselective rearrangement of tetrahydrofuran to tetrahydropyran.

An efficient acid-catalyzed sulfetherification of various unsaturated alcohols with sulfenamides to form tetrahydrofurans and tetrahydropyrans regioselectively is described. Mechanistic studies have shown that the tetrahydrofurans can stereoselectively rearrange to the corresponding tetrahydropyrans.
