Background: Autophagy death of cancer cells is detrimental to apoptosis induced by therapeutic drugs, which promotes tumor progression to a certain extent. Increasing reports have demonstrated the regulatory role of circular RNAs (circRNAs) in autophagy. Here, we aimed to determine the role of hsa_circ_0009109 in autophagy in gastric cancer (GC).

This research aimed to explore a diagnostic method based on serum and to evaluate the clinical diagnostic efficacy in gastric cancer (GC) by comparing it with the traditional GC diagnostic method, the carcinoembryonic protein (CEA) assay. Serum samples were collected from 70 healthy volunteers and various patients (GC: 76, benign gastric lesions: 20, postoperative: 37, recurrence: 56). The diagnostic efficacy of serum , CEA and the co-diagnosis were evaluated by receiver operating characteristic curve.

Objective: To investigate the effects of Hyperin (Hyp) on osteogenic differentiation of MC3T3-E1 cells.

Methods: Differentially expressed miRNA was screened by miRNA Microarray. miR-7031-5P overexpression and knockdown MC3T3-E1 cell models were constructed by transfecting miR-7031-5P mimics and inhibitor.

Background: The infusion of magnesium sulfate is well known to reduce arterial pressure and attenuate hemodynamic response to pneumoperitoneum. This study aimed to investigate whether different doses of magnesium sulfate can effectively attenuate the pneumoperitoneum-related hemodynamic changes and the release of vasopressin in patients undergoing laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery.

Methods: Sixty-nine patients undergoing laparoscopic partial gastrectomy were randomized into three groups: group L received magnesium sulfate 30 mg/kg loading dose and 15 mg/kg/h continuous maintenance infusion for 1 h; group H received magnesium sulfate 50 mg/kg followed by 30 mg/kg/h for 1 h; and group S (control group) received same volume 0.

Background: Phenylephrine is the first-line vasoactive drug in the cesarean section under spinal anesthesia. The rate of hypotension remains high after intravenous preventive use of phenylephrine. However, few studies have investigated the effect of preventive intramuscular phenylephrine via a longer period of usage on fetal and maternal outcomes.
