Purpose: Gastric cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in Northeast Asia. Population-based endoscopic screenings in the region have yielded successful results in early detection of gastric tumors. Endoscopic screening rates are continuously increasing, and there is a need for an automatic computerized diagnostic system to reduce the diagnostic burden.

It is often accompanied by smooth muscle hypertrophy that may obscure the adenomatoid tumor. We herein report a very unusual case of infarcted leiomyoadenomatoid tumor of the uterus and ovary in a 24-year-old woman who presented with severe lower abdominal pain and masses in the uterus and right ovary.

The diagnosis of a lipoblastoma is mostly dependent on a histopathological examination of a surgically excised specimen. However, an accurate preoperative diagnosis is essential for the planning of surgery, particularly for a lesion of the head and neck area.

Persistent hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia is caused most commonly by an insulinoma in adults or by nesidioblastosis in neonates. In adults, nesidioblastosis is a rare disorder characterized by diffuse or disseminated proliferation of islet cells. We recently encountered a case of nesidioblastosis in an adult.
