Spinal cysticercosis is a rare and severe cysticercosis complication. The pathology is from the inflammatory reaction and granuloma formation around the eggs, which cause focal neurological deficits. Because of the rarity of this condition, diagnosis may be delayed and confused with other myelopathies such as neoplasms or myelitis.

From July 2019 to September 2021, 54 patients with intradural-extramedullary tumors (37 meningiomas and 17 schwannomas) underwent surgery, and tumors were verified pathologically.

Brain arteriovenous malformations (bAVMs) are complex, heterogeneous, and uncommon intracranial lesions. They can be treated by one or a combination of the following treatment modalities, namely embolization, radiosurgery, or microsurgical resection. In Spetzler-Martin Grade 4 and 5 arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), conservative management may be the best option.
