Sixty clinical isolates of (), comprising 30 strains of MSSA and 30 strains of MRSA were used to build the CNN classification model. The developed method exhibited 100% identification accuracy for MSSA and MRSA, and is thus a promising tool for the rapid detection of drug-sensitive and drug-resistant bacterial strains.

The coordination number and strength of Ca ions with phosphate species, oxygen-containing additives, and solvent molecules played a crucial role in tuning nucleation processes and the surface stability of CaP under the simulated body fluid (SBF) or aqueous solutions upon the addition of oligomeric lactic acid (LAC, = 1, 8) and changing pH values. As revealed by ab initio molecular dynamics (AIMD), density functional theory (DFT), and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations as well as high-throughput experimentation (HTE), the binding of LAC molecules with Ca ions and phosphate species could stabilize both the pre-nucleation clusters and brushite (DCPD, CaHPO·2HO) surface through intermolecular electrostatic and hydrogen bonding interactions.

Result: In this study, we developed a real-time fluorescence PCR assay for the detection of PCV3.
Rationale: Heteroatomic compounds are relatively abundant and believed to be bio-resistant in heavy crude oils. However, few studies have focused on the biodegradation of these heteroatomic compounds.
Methods: Heteroatoms, especially N species, in a blank crude oil and in three treated oils co-incubated with anaerobic sulfate-reducing bacteria, nitrate-reducing bacteria and fermentative consortia cultures were detected using negative-ion electrospray ionization coupled with high-field Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry.
Optical encoding together with color multiplexing benefits on-site detection, and enriching the components with narrow emissions from lanthanide could greatly increase the coding density. Here, we show a typical example to combine emission color and lifetime that are simultaneously integrated in a single lanthanide nanoparticle. With the multicompartment core/shell structure, the nanoparticles can activate different emitting pathways under varied excitation.
