Among the various aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) assays, performing accurate detection is difficult because false positives and false negatives are frequent due to limited sensitivity, expensive equipment, or inadequate pretreatment during operation. Here, an "off-on" switch-type electrochemiluminescence (ECL) aptasensor armed with cobalt-sulfur quantum dots was encapsulated in hollow cobalt-layered double hydroxide nanocages as an enhanced luminescent probe (Co-LDH@QDs), and a ferrocene-modified aptamer (Fc-APT) was used as a luminescent quencher. In general, when Fc-APT was hybridized with complementary DNA modified with a DNA nanotetrahedron, electron transfer between ferrocene and Co-LDH@QDs was facilitated, leading to efficient quenching of the ECL intensity into an "off" state in the absence of AFB1.

Structural differences among non-aqueous phase liquids (NAPLs) result in varying oxidation rates, limiting mass transfer between NAPLs and oxidants and seriously impairing the effectiveness of remediation via traditional in-situ chemical oxidation. To tackle this challenge, a novel approach is proposed for remediating multi-NAPL-polluted groundwater that leverages phase transfer catalysis (PTC) to enhance heterogeneous mass transfer by transferring oxidants from groundwater to NAPLs. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between aromatic amino acids (AAAs), - phenylalanine (Phe), tyrosine (Tyr) and tryptophan (Trp) - and coronary artery disease (CAD) in a prospective study involving 2970 participants undergoing coronary angiography at Beijing Hospital. The poor remediation performance of groundwater circulation well (GCW) on semi-volatile organic contaminants (such as aniline) has severely limited its practical application. The currently available immune checkpoint therapy shows a disappointing therapeutic efficacy for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), and it is of great importance to discover better immune checkpoints and develop innovative targeting strategies. The discovered metabolic immune checkpoint ecto-5-nucleotidase (CD73) in a tumor contributes to its immune evasion due to the dysregulation of extracellular adenosine (ADO), which significantly inhibits the function of antitumor T cells and increases the activity of immunosuppressive cells.
