Bioaerosols were collected between April and November 2015 on land (Gdynia) and at sea (Southwestern Baltic), using six-step microbiological pollutant sampler. It was determined that picoplanktonic cyanobacteria of the genus Synechococcus, Synechocystis, Aphanocapsa, Aphanothece, Microcystis, Merismopedia, Woronichinia and Cyanodictyon were the most commonly found in aerosols both over land and at sea.
