Background: Sagittal profile descriptions of supracondylar humerus fractures are limited. We describe a reverse oblique (RO) pattern in which the distal fragment has a prominent anterior spike that is displaced posterior to the proximal fragment. This pattern presents a challenge during closed manipulation utilizing traditional reduction maneuvers.

Transient arterial injury is a common complication encountered in the management of pediatric supracondylar humerus fractures, often presenting as a pulseless hand that appears well perfused, also known as the "pink, pulseless hand." Arterial injuries in pediatric humeral shaft fractures, on the other hand, are exceedingly rare, especially in closed fractures. The authors report a rare case of a humeral shaft fracture presenting as a pink, pulseless hand.

We report a patient with aplasia cutis congenita, Duane anomaly, hip dysplasia, and other anomalies who had a de novo missense variant in UBA2, which encodes for a protein involved in the SUMOylation pathway. It has previously been suggested that UBA2 haploinsufficiency underlies scalp defects in the 19q13.11 deletion syndrome.
