At the end of 2017, the worldwide spread of the #MeToo symbol clearly showed the extent of sexual harassment in both the public domain and the workplace. In healthcare too, it is known that some doctors have unwanted sexual contact with their patients and with young doctors in training. In the opinion of the authors, measures taken against sexual harassment in healthcare so far do not seem to be very effective.
