Global 30-day morbidity and mortality of surgery for perforated peptic ulcer: GRACE study.

Background: There is little international data on morbidity and mortality of surgery for perforated peptic ulcer (PPU). This study aimed to understand the global 30-day morbidity and mortality of patients undergoing surgery for PPU and to identify variables associated with these.

Method: We performed an international study of adults (≥ 18 years) who underwent surgery for PPU from 1st January 2022 to 30th June 2022.

Testosterone replacement therapy in patients with cachexia: a contemporary review of the literature.

Introduction: Patients with long-term chronic illnesses frequently present with hypogonadism, which is primarily managed through exogenous testosterone. These same patients also experience a high degree of cachexia, a loss of skeletal muscle and adipose tissue.

Acute abdomen caused by rupture of a torted intra-abdominal testicular mass: Case report.

Multidetector Computed Tomography (CT) in Evaluation of Congenital Cyanotic Heart Diseases.

Background: The aim of the study is to emphasize the role of 128 MSCT angiography in the diagnosis of congenital cyanotic heart diseases.

Material/methods: This study included sixty patients and was conducted from December 2014 to July 2016 in the Multidetector CT unit of Zagazig University hospitals. All images included axial, MPR, MIP, and VRT and were interpreted in one session.
