Physiotherapists Lack Knowledge in Mental Health: A Survey of Knowledge and Attitudes of Physical Therapists About Their Role in Mental Health.

Purpose: As the number of mental illnesses increases, there is a need to manage it holistically within a multidisciplinary team. The majority of patients with physical disabilities suffer from mental health problems, and physiotherapy can play a role in improving their lifestyle. This study aimed to determine physiotherapists' self-reported knowledge and attitudes regarding their role in treating patients with mental health disorders.

Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on healthcare systems throughout the world. As the clinical and epidemiological features of COVID-19 share many similarities with other respiratory viruses in children, ensuring optimal management of different viral respiratory diseases is critical. The precautions taken to prevent COVID-19 have seemingly had an indirect effect on the seasonal variations of viral diseases and the frequency of relevant viruses.

Development of the Arabic Health Measures database: a bibliometric analysis of Arabic health-related measures.

Background: To develop an open-access database of Arabic health measures intended for use by researchers and healthcare providers, along with a bibliometric analysis of the measures included in the database.

Methods: A search was conducted up to 31 December 2021 in PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, SAGE, Springer and Elsevier for published articles or abstracts with keywords "Arabic" AND "translation", "adaptation" OR "validation". Information on the measure and the methodology used in the study was then entered into a database.

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is a major complication following transplantation. The likelihood of TB may be increased in transplant patients living in TB-endemic areas such as Saudi Arabia. In areas where TB is less common, guidelines recommend isoniazid (INH) for TB prophylaxis depending on patient and donor screening results.

Parenting behaviors, marital discord and the mental health of young females: a cross-sectional study from Saudi Arabia.

Background: Divorce is considered a sentinel event influencing the economic, psychosocial and physical health of the family as a whole. Research shows a negative impact of parental marital discord (PMD) on the psychological health and social well-being of children. Only one study from Saudi Arabia has assessed educational and social attainment among young females, and the children were school girls aged 12-16 years.

Peritoneal dialysis related infections in a tertiary care hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Objectives: To detect the incidence of and risk factors for infections among patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) undergoing peritoneal dialysis (PD).

Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted at the PD unit of King Fahad Medical City. End-stage renal disease patients above the age of 12 years who were undergoing PD management between January 2006 and March 2016 were included.
