Diet Quality, Health, and Wellbeing within the Irish Homeless Sector: A Qualitative Exploration.

Financial barriers and limited cooking facilities are major obstacles to healthy dietary practices among the homeless population. Homelessness is currently at crisis point and up-to-date evidence from multiple stakeholders is needed to address dietary inequalities. The aim of this study was to understand dietary practices, barriers to healthy eating within homeless services from multiple perspectives.

Parental perceptions of the food environment and their influence on food decisions among low-income families: a rapid review of qualitative evidence.

Background: The food environment within and surrounding homes influences family dietary habits with socio-economic areas at a nutritional disadvantage. Families' perception of the food environment and how it influences their food decisions is less clear. This rapid review aimed to synthesise qualitative evidence of parental perspectives of the food environment and their influence on food decisions among disadvantaged families.

Knowledge on cervical cancer and perceived barriers to the uptake of HPV vaccination among health professionals.

Background: Despite the fact that cervical cancer is preventable and curable in the early stages, it still remains to be a major public health problem in India. This study was conducted to assess the knowledge and awareness regarding the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccination among health care professionals working in a tertiary care hospital in urban India.

Methods: To this aim, we conducted a cross-sectional study among 318 health care professionals working in tertiary hospitals across Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Unusual diagnosis of a solitary thyroid nodule in the paediatric population: cervical thymic cyst.

We present a case of an 8-year-old girl with a painless swelling in her neck. An ultrasonogram revealed a cystic nodule with internal echoes, lying posterior to right lobe of thyroid, and MRI confirmed it. Thyroid scintigraphy did not show any uptake in the swelling.
