Unlabelled: Utilizing transcriptomics, promising methods for identifying unique genes associated with gametocyte development offer a potential avenue for novel candidate targets in transmission blocking vaccine development. In this review, we identified 40 publicly available transcriptomic datasets related to parasite factors linked with sexual stage transmission, from which we analyzed two RNA-Seq datasets to identify potential genes crucial for the transmission of from humans to mosquito vectors. Differential expression analysis revealed 3500 (2489 upregulated and 1011 downregulated) common genes differentially expressed throughout sexual stage development of occurring in both humans (gametocyte stage II, V) and mosquitoes (ookinete).

The major limitations of solution-processed oxide electronics include high process temperatures and the absence of necessary strain tolerance that would be essential for flexible electronic applications. Here, a combination of low temperature (<100 °C) curable indium oxide nanoparticle ink and a conductive silver nanoink, which are used to fabricate fully-printed narrow-channel thin film transistors (TFTs) on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates, is proposed. The metal ink is printed onto the In O nanoparticulate channel to narrow the effective channel lengths down to the thickness of the In O layer and thereby obtain near-vertical transport across the semiconductor layer.

The objective of the study was to examine the effects of traditional Indian dances like Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Kathak on motor skills and balance in children with Down syndrome compared to neuromuscular training. In this randomised double-arm design, 36 children with Down syndrome aged 6-10 years and with a score of <5 in Beighton's hypermobility test participated in either Indian classical dance (n = 18) or neuromuscular training (n = 18).
