Background: The conversion of General Out-patient Clinics (GOPC) into COVID-19 designated clinics played a crucial role in combating COVID-19 pandemic in Hong Kong in 2022. This qualitative research aimed to contribute valuable perspectives from doctors on the operations of designated clinics for the preparedness of future outbreaks and health emergencies.
Methods: This research adopted an interpretive phenomenological approach.
Background: Evidence implicated the diagnostic significance of microRNAs in whole urine/urine sediments in urothelial carcinoma of the bladder (UCB). However, the contaminated blood cells in patients with haematouria significantly altered the expression profiles of urinary microRNA, influencing the test accuracy.
Methods: MicroRNA profiles of the urine supernatants of UCB patients and controls without any malignancy and profiles of malignant and corresponding normal mucosa tissues from the patients were determined by microRNA microarray and compared to identify differentially expressed microRNAs.
Background & Objective: Latent pheochromocytoma (PHOE) is a rare disease with no symptom of hypertension, which is easily to be misdiagnosed before operation. There occurs dramatic fluctuations of blood pressure during surgical resection, and the risk of surgery for these patients is rather high. This study was to summarize our experiences in handling emergent treatment for latent PHOE.

Methods: The expression of Survivin and PTEN in 116 specimens of adrenal tumors, including 39 cases of cortex adenoma, 22 cases of cortex adenocarcinoma, 35 cases of pheochromocytoma, and 20 cases of malignant pheochromocytoma, were detected by LSAB immunohistochemistry.
