Background And Purpose: The current therapy cannot meet the needs of glioblastoma (GBM). V-domain immunoglobulin suppressor of T-cell activation (VISTA) is significantly up-regulated in GBM patients; however, its therapeutic potential in GBM is still unclear.
Experimental Approach: Flow cytometry was used to detect the expression of VISTA and the co-expression pattern of VISTA and programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1) on brain infiltrating lymphocytes of GBM mice.

Glioblastoma (GBM) is one of the most malignant tumors of the central nervous system. The pattern of immune checkpoint expression in GBM remains largely unknown. We performed snRNA-Seq and spatial transcriptomic (ST) analyses on untreated GBM samples.

Fatostatin functions as an inhibitor of sterol regulatory element binding protein (SREBP) activation. However, the complex effects of fatostatin on cholesterol metabolism in the tumor microenvironment (TME) and its influence on T cell anti-tumor immunity remain unclear.

Treatment with a VISTA agonistic antibody could significantly improve asthma symptoms. Thus, for allergic asthma treatment, VISTA targeting may be a compelling approach.

This study was performed to explore the potential mechanism by which different domains of VISTA affect T-cell activation and search for potential interacting proteins.
Methods: Stably transfected Jurkat cell lines were constructed to overexpress human VISTA (VISTA-FL), cytoplasmic domain deletion mutants (VISTA-ΔECD) and extracellular domain deletion mutants (VISTA- ΔCD).
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most lethal cancer and leading cause of cancer mortality worldwide. A key driver of CRC development is colon inflammatory responses especially in patients with inflammatory bowl disease (IBD). It has been proved that Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) have anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-tumor effects.
