Background: The clinical benefit of preoperative oral nutritional supplements (ONS) in patients undergoing surgery for gastrointestinal cancer remains controversial.
Objective: To evaluate the effect of preoperative ONS on postoperative clinical outcomes in patients with gastrointestinal cancer.
Methods: We searched PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Scopus, and the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure databases for randomized controlled trials evaluating preoperative ONS in patients undergoing surgery for gastrointestinal cancer from inception until April 2024.
Overexpression of carboxyl/cholinesterase (CCE) genes has been reported to be associated with many cases of pesticide resistance in arthropods. However, it has been rarely documented that genes participate in spirodiclofen resistance in . In previous research, we found that spirodiclofen resistance is related to increased P450 and CCE enzyme activities in .

Previously, a resistant strain of Neoseiulus barkeri for chlorpyrifos was obtained. In the current study, two up-regulated (NbCYP3A6, NbCYP3A16) and one down-regulated (NbCYP3A24) P450s were screened through differential expression analysis and other detoxification-related genes such as CCEs, GST, etc.

In this study, we investigate the relationship between the structure of gut bacterial symbionts and insecticide susceptibility in , the important carrier of Liberibacter asiaticus (Las), the causal agent of Huanglongbing (HLB). Our results indicated that antibiotic treatment significantly increased the susceptibility of to bifenthrin and thiamethoxam, and significantly decreased the relative abundance of and Profftella, enzyme activities of CarEs, and expression level of multiple CarE genes.

Lipopolysaccharide(LPS) was sprayed into the airway of wild type C57BL/6J male mice to establish the model, and the drug was injected into the tail vein 24 h after modeling. Lung function, lung tissue wet/dry weight(W/D) ratio, the total protein concentration, interleukin 6(IL-6), IL-1β, and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF), and pathological changes of the lung tissue were used to evaluate the effects of different gypenosides on ALI mice.

Although ketamine has prophylactic effects on PPD in women undergoing cesarean section, the effects of esketamine on PPD remain unclear. This trial aimed to evaluate the efficacy of perioperative esketamine infusion on PPD risk by assessing Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) scores and blood biomarkers.

Objective: To study the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) status and prognosis value in patients with newly diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) by flow cytometry (FCM).
Methods: The clinical features of the 75 newly diagnosed ALL patients from September 2020 to December 2021 in our centre were retrospective analyzed, as well as the bone marrow (BM) and CSF minimal residual disease (MRD) data, and the CSF conventional cytology data. Central nervous system infiltration(CNSI) positive was as CSF MRD positive by FCM or leukemia cells detected by conventional cytology.
Environmental regulation (ER) and industrial agglomeration (IA) are important factors that affect green development efficiency (GDE). However, there is a lack of studies on their relation in the context of the marine economy. This paper integrates ER, IA, and marine GDE (MGDE) into a unified analytical framework and uses balanced panel data from China's 11 coastal provinces during 2008-2019 to quantify the linear, nonlinear, and spatial spillover effects between the three using the spatial Durbin model (SDM) and threshold effect model.

Herein, an environment-friendly formulation of insecticide chlorantraniliprole (CAP) was fabricated through a simple approach of coprecipitation-based synchronous encapsulation by chitosan (CTS), with carrier-pesticide interaction mechanism and release behavior investigated.
Results: The resulting CAP/CTS controlled-release formulation (CCF) showed a good loading content of 28.

Objective: To analyze the gene mutation profile in children with acute lymphocyte leukemia (ALL) and to explore its prognostic significance.
Methods: Clinical data of 249 primary pediatric ALL patients diagnosed and treated in the Department of Hematological Oncology of Wuhan Children's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2021 were analyzed retrospectively. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) was used to obtain gene mutation data and analyze the correlation between it and the prognosis of children with ALL.
As one type of debt 'borrowed' from nature, municipal solid waste (MSW) can be influenced by financing debt. Taking China as an example, an improved Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index (LMDI) model, together with the Tapio decoupling model, is developed to analyze the impact of private debt on MSW generation and the relationship between MSW and economic growth. The results show that the debt-income ratio promotes MSW generation and the output efficiency of debt inhibits MSW generation.

The electrochemical sensor based on molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) is a promising platform that caters for the next generation of intelligent wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) by virtue of its wide tolerance to water from all sources and in-situ monitoring. However, low initiation potentials of cross-linking monomers contributed by the electron-rich circumstance allowed them to usurp sites designed for functional monomers when electrically stimulated, leading to an unsatisfactory binding capacity.

Based on the theoretical mechanism analysis, this study empirically investigated the relationship between government intervention, market development, and China's provincial pollution emission efficiency by using the static panel OLS, system generalized method of moments (SYS-GMM), and panel threshold effect model during the period 2000-2017. The results show that the impact of government intervention on China's provincial pollution emission efficiency shows a non-linear U-shaped curve relationship, and there is a positive correlation between market development and provincial pollution emission efficiency in China.
